Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base.

Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous Inventory Specialist who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service.

The Specialist must be able to support our first or second shift operations.

Responsibilities :

Receive, store, and distribute materials

Ensure production lines have sufficient materials and provide traceability

Record transactions accurately in ERP

Conduct cycle counts; identify and report inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system count

Ensure the stockroom is organized

Kit materials for assemblies according to the Bill of Materials

Requirements :

2 years of inventory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Attention to detail and well organized

Strong written and verbal communication

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
